Draining the Fuel Tank and Carburetor
1. Unscrew the fuel tank cap, remove the fuel filter, and empty the fuel
tank into an approved gasoline container. We recommend using a
commercially available gasoline hand pump to empty the tank. Do
not use an electric pump. Reinstall the fuel filter and the fuel tank
cap.
Gasoline is highly flammable and
explosive.
You can be burned or seriously
injured when handling
fuel.
• Stop the engine and keep heat,
sparks, and flame aw
ay when
refueling.
• Handle fuel only outdoors.
• Wipe up spills immediately.
