TAKING CARE OF UNEXPECTED PROBLEMS
ENGINE LACKS POWER
Possible Cause Correction
Air filter restricted. Clean or replace air filter 
(see pages 40, 41).
Bad fuel; generator stored without
treating
or draining gasoline, or
refueled with bad gasoline.
Drain fuel tank and carburetor
(see page 49).
Refuel with fresh gasoline
(see page 35).
Fuel filter restricted, carburetor
malfunction, ignition m
alfunction,
valves stuck, etc.
Take the generator to an
authorized Honda servicing dealer,
or refer to the shop manual.
