CLEANING OF SEDIMENT CUP AND FUEL FILTER
1. Close the fuel shut-off valve (“OFF” position) and the
remove the cup [1], the O-ring [2] and the fuel shut-off
valve filter [3].
2. Wash the parts in a non-inflammable solvent and dry
them. Check that the filter is not damaged.
3. Open the fuel shut-off valve (“ON” position) and drain
the petrol in the tank, collecting it in an approved
container.
4. Replace the filter [3], the O-ring [2] and tighten the
sediment cup as far as it will go [1].
5. Loosen the nut [4] to remove the fuel shut-off valve
and the fuel filter [6].
6. Wash the filter in a non-inflammable solvent. Check
that it is not damaged.
7. Rinse and clean the tank if necessary.
8. Check that the O-ring [5] is correctly installed, replace
the filter [6] and tighten the nut [4].
9. Make sure that there is no leak.
