DC OPERATION
The DC terminals may ONLY be used for charging 12 volt automotive-type
batteries.
CONNECTING THE BATTERY CABLES
1. Before connecting charging cables to a battery that is installed in a vehicle,
disconnect the vehicle’s ground cable from the battery.
The battery gives off explosive hydrogen gas during normal operation.
A spark or open flame can cause the battery to explode with enough
force to kill or seriously hurt you.
Keep sparks and flames away. Wear protective clothing and a face
shield, or have a skilled mechanic do battery maintenance.
2. Connect the positive (+) battery cable to the battery positive (+) terminal.
3. Connect the other end of the positive (+)
battery cable to the
generator
positive (+) terminal.
