STARTING/STOPPING THE ENGINE
STARTING THE ENGINE
1. The generator may be hard to start if a load is connected.
2. Turn the choke lever to the CLOSE position.
NOTE:
l Do not use the choke when the engine is warm.
3. Turn the engine switch to the ON position.
4. Pull the starter grip lightly until you feel resistance, then pull briskly.
Return the starter grip gently.
5. Turn the choke lever to the OPEN position as the engine warms up.
STOPPING THE ENGINE
In an emergency:
To stop the engine in an emergency, move the engine switch to the OFF
position.
In normal use:
1. Turn off any AC electrical appliance, and disconnect DC battery charging
cables.
2. Move the engine switch to the OFF position.
