OPERATION
STARTING THE ENGINE
1. If the fuel tank is equipped with a valve, be sure the fuel valve is in
the OPEN or ON position before attempting to start the engine.
2. To start a cold engine, move the control lever to the START (CHOKE)
position.
To restart a warm engine, leave the control lever
in the FAST
position.
Some engine applications use
a remotely-mounted control rather
than the engine-mounted control lever shown here. Refer to the
instructions provided
with the equipment powered by this engine
for remote control information.
