• When the main unit is set to AUTOMATIC, the system ar
ms automatically 20 seconds after
the last door or the tailgate is closed
*.
• If a door or the tailgate is opened during the 20 seconds e
xit delay time, the timer resets and
the 20 seconds exit delay time restarts after the last door or the tailgate is closed.
• If the ignition key is inserted into the ignition switch dur
ing the exit delay time, the system will
be disarmed.
• The system beeps three times. It does not arm itself unless an
y door or the tailgate is closed
when the LOCK button is pressed.
• When the remote control transmitter is used to arm dur
ing exit delay time, the system starts
to arm by manual arming function. When the system is ar
med in the automatic arming mode,
it can be armed in manual arming mode by using the remote control tr
ansmitter. Exit delay
and Entry delay cannot be used.
Arming
Make sure the arming mode is set to AUTOMATIC.
Automatic Arming
(Passive)
(Arms the security system without
locking the doors.)
Turn the ignition key from the ON (II) position to the LOCK (0) position.
Remove the key from the ignition switch.
