4.2 Pre-operation Check
Make sure that the
blower
is operated normally or there is not any part missing
or cracking before starting the operation.
Especially check the looseness of the connections, screws, nuts and fuel leakage .
* Otherwise, it will cause serious accident.
Before operating the blower, check the following.
(a) Check the installed status of the attachment. If it is faulty, request a repair.
Check if there is not any looseness, cracks, bending, and distortion of parts (nuts, screws, etc.)
Check if the fan tightening nut is tightened.
(For tightening method, refer to “5.2 Tightening method of nut.”)
(b) Manually turn the fan tightening nut to check if it rotates smoothly.
If it does not rotate, consult the sales agency.
(c) Remove the foreign objects inside. For removing, refer to “5.3 Removing procedure for foreign objects
inside.”
(d) Check the idling status. If it is faulty, refer to the engine or powerhead manual for adjusting by yourself
or request the sales agency for adjustment or repair.
Check if the blower does not move during idling.
Check if the idling is normal.
(e) In addition to the above, perform the steps described in the powerhead manual.
