7. Check the throttle cable free play.
• Check the throttle cable free play at the tip of the cable by pulling and
releasing the throttle lever a few times. It should be 0.5 – 2.5 mm (0.02 –
0.10 in.) at the tip of the throttle cable.
• Check the throttle lever operates smoothly.
8. Check that all nuts, bolts, and screws are tightened.
Tighten the bolts and nuts properly and securely, if necessary.
