SERVICING YOUR PUMP
SPARK PLUG SERVICE
TOP COVER
5mmHEXBOLT
In order to service the spark plug, you will need a spark plug wrench
(commercially available).

Incorrect spark plugs can cause engine damage.
Remove the top cover.
Loosen the 5 mm hex bolt with a hexagon wrench, then remove the
top cover.
You may be injured from rotating
parts or burned by the muffler.
Do not operate the engine when
the top cover is removed.
Do not pull the recoil starter
handle when the top cover is
removed.
