8. Troubleshooting
8.1 Overview
The FDAP doesnot contain any user-serviceable parts inside the FDAP enclosure, any
failure within a FDAP requires a replacement of the FDAP.
If a fault or a failure is indicated or suspected in a FDAP in the network, there are many
ways to diagnose a problem. You can:
Monitor using alarms
Monitoring using reports
System logs
FDAP failure indications
Failu
re indication may be signaled through the FDAP status LEDs.
Restarting FDAP
You
can restart the FDAP if a failure is suspected.
