Bottom Panel Features
Hand Strap Slot
There is an adjustable, elastic hand strap available for purchase with the terminal. When
installing the hand strap, you loop the elastic strip through this slot. For instructions, see
Attaching the Hand Strap on page 3-11.
I/O Connector
The I/O mechanical connector is designed to work exclusively with peripherals and cables
designed for the Dolphin 7600II terminal. This connector powers the terminal, charges the
main battery, and facilitates communication. This connector supports full speed USB 1.1
communication (up to 12 Mbps) and RS-232 communications with a maximum speed of
115Kbps and seven baud rate settings.
Through this connector, you can communicate with a host workstation via Microsoft
ActiveSync; see ActiveSync Communication on page 3-18.
The I/O connector supports the following signals:
