Messages for both
Messages such as the following may appear on the LCD monitor when
using the PictBridge function.
Memory card error Shooting and playback are impossible due to a problem
with the SD Memory Card. You may be able to play back
images or sounds on a PC.
Card not formatted The SD Memory Card you have inserted is unformatted or
has been formatted on a PC or other device and is not
compatible with this camera. (p.118)
Card locked The SD Memory Card is write-protected. (p.22)
Data being recorded The image is being recorded on the SD Memory Card or in
the built-in memory.
The protect setting or DPOF setting is being changed.
The movie is being recorded.
Deleting The image is being deleted.
Formatting The SD Memory Card or built-in memory is being formatted.
Battery depleted The battery is exhausted. Insert new batteries or if using a
rechargeable battery, charge the battery with the charger
(p.16).
It may also appear when you turn on the power after
purchasing the camera or after replacing the batteries if the
batteries had been removed for a long time. (p.16)
No paper in the printer There is no paper in the printer.
No ink in the printer There is no ink in the printer.
Printer error An error message has been sent from the printer.
Data error A data error message has been sent from the printer.
