Taking Pictures

You can take two images in succession and place them side by side to
form a single picture. The first image is positioned in the left half of the
picture and the second image in the right half.
1 Set the mode dial to +.
2 Press the four-way controller (3).
The screen for choosing a digital effect mode appears.
3 Use the four-way controller (23
45) to select == (Two-in-One).
4 Press the OK button.
The screen for taking the first image
appears.
5 Take the first image.
Make sure that the subject is positioned in
the left half of the screen and press the
shutter release button.
When you have taken the first image, it
appears semi-transparent in the left half of
the picture.
6 Take the second image.
Make sure that the subject is positioned in
the right half of the screen and press the
shutter release button.
When you have taken the second image,
the two images are combined to form one
picture and the screen returns to Step 5.
Taking Two-in-One Pictures (Two-in-One Mode)
To cancel Two-in-One mode, temporarily change to another mode.
However, when the Focus Mode is in z, you cannot switch out of Two-
in-One mode with the four-way controller (3). Use the Mode Dial to
switch to another mode.
