Commercial Contactors
For commercial applications, the Honeywell lineup of 3-pole and
4-pole PowerPRO
contactors provides cost-effective reliability and
performance. Durable and robust, PowerPRO models meet the ARI
780/790 standard of 500,000 cycles of mechanical life, 200,000 cycles
of electrical life and 10,000 cycles of recycle life. These contactors
feature a dust cover to extend the life of the contacts and to prevent
ants, bugs and debris from causing undesirable failures. In addition,
Honeywell also offers auxiliary switches in NO, NC, NO/NC, 2NO and
2NC configurations.
Experienced And Tested
Fifty years of experience goes into every Honeywell contactor. Each
one undergoes a rigorous qualifying process during which they are
subjected to numerous manufacturing and application specific failure
modes. Only contactors that pass this process are added to the
Honeywell portfolio, so you can rest assured that when you choose
Honeywell, your jobs are powered by the best products in the industry.
Commercial Transformers
If you’re purchasing ZonePRO™, Commercial VisionPRO
®
8000 or CommercialPRO
®
7000 thermostats, you should also be
purchasing Honeywell NEMA transformers. These 20 VA, 40 VA
and 48 VA rated transformers undergo strenuous testing to ensure
that they fully meet the NEMA regulation curve and will provide
optimum performance under fluctuating power quality, such as
over-voltage/under-voltage conditions. An over-voltage situation
may cause high heat build-up, which can melt contacts or
damage sensitive components to reduce the life of your
equipment. An under-voltage situation will prevent your
appliance from working due to poor current quality.
Engineered To The Highest Standards
To qualify for the NEMA ratings, Honeywell takes extra measures
to ensure that the transformer quality meets the highest industry
standards. This includes using the proper number of laminations
and the correct number of copper turns in the winding during
the manufacturing process. These design measures result in
Honeywells secondary voltage curve being controlled within
+/- 5 percent of the specified voltage. The robustness of the
NEMA transformer pays for itself.
