So what is the right amount
of moisture for my home?
The optimal range for annual indoor relative humidity
(RH) is 35 to 55 percent.* Unlike portable humidifiers
that are only effective in the rooms they are located
in, or other whole-house humidifiers that only deliver
moisture when your heating equipment is running,

its own steam independent of equipment operation,
maintaining the right balance of humidity at all
times.

The Honeywell Steam Humidifier is installed out-of-
sight by your heating and cooling professional into
your home’s central heating and cooling system. It is
hooked up to a water supply where it automatically
delivers its own steam humidification into your
ductwork, which is then distributed throughout your
home. You can also forget about having to fill clunky,
portable units, because it automatically fills itself. And
the water tank requires minimal maintenance —
simply clean once a year with soap and water, and the
rest of the time it cleans itself automatically.
