For example, on cold days your heating system will start earlier to ensure that your home is warm when you wake in the morning.

The thermostat communicates with the relay box using a wireless RF signal to control the system. Do not install near metal objects or electronic devices (TV, sound system, PC, etc.).

See wiring diagrams on page 23 for details. Heating or cooling system does not respond • Check thermostat batteries (see above). • Make sure heating and cooling systems have power. Check fuses and circuit breakers and replace or reset as needed.
