Operating Manual About your new thermostat Your new Honeywell thermostat has been designed to give you many years of reliable service and easy-to-use, push-button climate control.
RTH2510/RTH2410 This thermostat is ready to go! Your new thermostat is pre-programmed and ready to go. All you have to do is set the time and day. Then check the settings below and change if needed: 1. Set time and day (required for proper operation)...............................See page 6 2. RTH2510/RTH2410 Select the system setting The SYSTEM switch can be set to control your heating or cooling system, depending on the season. • Cool: Cooling system control. • Off: All systems are off. • Heat: Heating system control. Heat Off Cool Fan Auto On M32700 Set SYSTEM switch to control the heating or cooling system. CAUTION: EQUIPMENT DAMAGE HAZARD. Operating Manual Select the fan setting Set the FAN switch to Auto or On. In “Auto” mode (the most commonly used setting), the fan runs only when the heating or cooling system is on. If set to “On,” the fan runs continuously. Heat Off Cool Fan Auto On M32700 Set FAN switch to choose whether the fan runs continuously or only as needed.
RTH2510/RTH2410 Save money by setting program schedules It’s easy to program your system for maximum energy savings. You can program four time periods each day, with different settings for weekdays and weekends. WAKE 6:00 am 70 ° LEAVE 8:00 am 62 ° RETURN 6:00 pm 70 ° SLEEP 10:00 pm 62 ° Set to the time you awaken and the temperature you want during the morning, until you leave for the day.
Operating Manual About your Energy saving newsettings thermostat for maximum cost savings This thermostat is pre-set to use energy saving program settings. We recommend these settings, since they can reduce your heating/cooling expenses. (See next page to adjust times and temperatures of each time period.
RTH2510/RTH2410 To adjust program schedules (RTH2510) Press SET 3 times, then adjust time. 1. Press SET until Set Schedule is displayed. 2. This will temporarily override the temperature setting for the current time period. “Temporary” will appear on the display and the current program period will flash.

This will override the temperature settings for all time periods.
RTH2510/RTH2410 About your Built-in compressor new thermostat protection 6:30 We Wake am This feature helps prevent damage to the compressor in your air conditioning or heat pump system. 75 Damage can occur if the compressor is restarted too soon after shutdown. This feature forces the compressor to wait 5 minutes before restarting. Cool On M32711 Message flashes until safe restart time has elapsed.
Operating Manual AboutStart Early your new thermostat Early Start: This feature allows the heating or 6:30 We Wake am 75 Cool On M32712 cooling to turn on before the program start time, so the temperature is reached at the time you set. For example: Set the Wake time to 6 am, and the temperature to 70°. The heat will come on before 6 am, so the temperature is 70° by the time you wake at 6. The next time period is displayed when the system is activated before a scheduled time period.
RTH2510/RTH2410 Battery replacement Install two fresh AAA batteries when Lo Batt flashes on the screen. Lo Batt appears for 60 days before the batteries are depleted. Pull at bottom to remove thermostat from wallplate. W/ Aux Not Used Replace batteries once a year, or when you will be away for more than a month. Turn thermostat over, insert fresh AAA alkaline batteries, then reinstall thermostat. Heat Off Cool Fan Auto On M32705 Most settings are stored in non-volatile (permanent) memory.

RTH2510/RTH2410 In case of difficulty If you have difficulty with your thermostat, please try the following suggestions. Most problems can be corrected quickly and easily. Display is blank • Make sure furnace door is closed securely. • Make sure fresh AAA alkaline batteries are correctly installed (see page 17). Heating or cooling system does not respond • Set system switch to Heat (see page 7). Make sure the temperature is set higher than the Inside temperature.
Operating Manual In case of difficulty Temperature settings do not change Make sure heating and cooling temperatures are set to acceptable ranges: • Heat: 40° to 90°F (4.5° to 32°C). • Cool: 50° to 99°F (10° to 37°C). “Cool On” or “Heat On” is flashing • Compressor protection feature is engaged. Wait 5 minutes for the system to restart safely, without damage to the compressor (see page 15).
RTH2510/RTH2410 About your 1-year limited new warranty thermostat Honeywell warrants this product, excluding battery, to be free from defects in the workmanship or materials, under normal use and service, for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase by the consumer. If at any time during the warranty period the product is determined to be defective or malfunctions, Honeywell shall repair or replace it (at Honeywell’s option).

L’écran s’allume pendant 12 secondes lorsque n’importe quel bouton est appuyé. Hold : Appuyer pour déroger à la commande de température programmée. En mode « Auto » (le mode usuel), le ventilateur fonctionne seulement quand le système de chauffage ou de refroidissement est en marche. Heat Off Cool À la position « On », le ventilateur fonctionne sans interruption. Fan Auto On M32700 Régler le sélecteur du ventilateur FAN pour que le ventilateur fonctionne en continue ou seulement au besoin.

Cette fonction permet de déroger provisoirement au réglage de température de la période en cours.

Cette fonction oblige le compresseur à attendre 5 minutes avant de redémarrer. Cool On M32711 Le message clignote jusqu’à ce que le système puisse démarrer en toute sécurité.
Manuel de fonctionnement Démarrage À propos duprécoce nouveau thermostat 6:30 We Wake am 75 Cool On M32712 Démarrage précoce : Cette fonction permet d’activer le chauffage ou le refroidissement avant l’heure programmée pour que la température souhaitée soit atteinte à l’heure indiquée. Par exemple : Régler l’heure de réveil à 6 heures et la température à 70 °. Le chauffage s’enclenche avant 6 heures, de sorte que la température ait atteint 70 °C lorsqu’on se réveille à 6 heures.

W/ Aux Not Used Retourner le thermostat et installer des piles alcalines AAA neuves, puis remettre le thermostat en place. Heat Off Cool Fan Auto On M32705 RTHXXXX M32707 Mettre deux piles AAA neuves lorsque Lo Batt (piles faibles) clignote à ‘l’écran. Lo Batt s’affiche pendant 60 jours avant que les piles ne soient complètement déchargées.

Rien n’apparaît à l’écran • S’assurer que la porte de l’appareil de chauffage est bien fermée. • S’assurer que des piles alcalines AAA neuves sont correctement installées (voir page 17).
