3 Label Wires with Tags Label the wires using the supplied wire labels as you disconnect them. Wire Labels C C Terminal designation M28100 4 Separate Wallplate from New Thermostat Remove wallplate from the new thermostat and mount onto wall. Wallplate M29532 5 Mount Wallplate Mount the new wallplate using the included screws and anchors. MCR29533 Drill 3/16-in. holes for drywall Drill 3/32-in.
6 Connect Wires Simply match wire labels. If labels do not match letters on the thermostat, check “Alternate Wiring” on page 5 and connect to terminal as shown (see notes, below). Fan 72 Cool On System Cool Auto In “Auto” mode (the most commonly used setting), the fan runs only when the heating or cooling system is on. If set to “On,” the fan runs continuously. System status Indicates system is on. (Cool On or Heat On.) System setting Press the SYSTEM button to select Heat, Cool or Off.
Auto Changeover Use this feature in climates where both air conditioning and heating are used on the same day. When the system mode is in Auto, the thermostat automatically selects heating or cooling depending on the indoor temperature. While in the Auto mode, if a schedule override takes place (temporarily or permanently) the thermostat will automatically adjust the cooling and heating settings to maintain a 3-degree separation between the cool and heat settings.
Built-in compressor protection This feature helps prevent damage to the compressor in your air conditioning or heat pump system. Cool Setting Inside Damage can occur if the compressor is restarted too soon after shutdown. This feature forces the compressor to wait a few minutes before restarting. 72 Fan 72 Cool On System Cool Auto During the wait time, the display will flash the message Cool On (or Heat On if you have a heat pump).
Troubleshooting If you have difficulty with your thermostat, please try the following suggestions. Most problems can be corrected quickly and easily. Display is blank • Temperature settings do not change Make sure heating and cooling temperatures are set to acceptable ranges: • • Heat: 40° to 90°F (4.5° to 32°C). Cool: 50° to 99°F (10° to 37°C).
1-year limited warranty Honeywell warrants this product, excluding battery, to be free from defects in the workmanship or materials, under normal use and service, for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase by the consumer. If at any time during the warranty period the product is determined to be defective or malfunctions, Honeywell shall repair or replace it (at Honeywell’s option).

Retirer le cavalier en métal s’il y a à la fois les fils « R » et « Rc ». MCR29534 Le thermostat ne fonctionne pas sur les thermopompes avec chauffage auxiliaire/de secours. Remplacement des piles Installer des piles neuves aussitôt que l’avertissement REPLACE BATTERY se met à clignoter. L’avertissement commence à clignoter environ deux mois avant que les piles soient complètement épuisées. Même si l’avertissement n’apparaît pas, il faut remplacer les piles une fois par année, ou avant une absence de plus d’un mois. Appuyer et tirer pour enlever. Replace Batt Si les piles sont installées dans les deux minutes, l’heure et le jour n’auront pas à être réinitialisés.
Dépannage En cas de difficultés avec le thermostat, essayer les suggestions suivantes. La plupart des problèmes peuvent être réglés rapidement et facilement.
Garantie limitée d’un an Honeywell garantit ce produit, à l’exception des piles, contre tout défaut de pièce ou de main-d’œuvre, durant une période d’un (1) an à partir de la date d’achat par le consommateur si le produit est utilisé et entretenu convenablement.
