FocusPRO TH5000 Series TM This thermostat is ready to go! Your new thermostat is pre-programmed by the installer and ready to use. Just check the settings below and change if needed: 1. Fan (Auto/On): Preset to Auto..........................................To change, see page 6. Auto is the most commonly used setting, but you may prefer On for improved air circulation. 2. Operating Manual Select the fan setting Fan Auto Fan System Heat On System Heat Press the FAN button to select Auto or On. In “Auto” mode (the most commonly used setting), the fan runs only when the heating or cooling system is on. If set to “On,” the fan runs continuously. Use this setting for improved air circulation, or for more efficient air cleaning.
FocusPRO TH5000 Series TM Select the system setting Fan Auto Press the SYSTEM button to select: System Heat • Heat: Thermostat controls only the heating system. • Cool: Thermostat controls only the cooling system. Fan Auto System Cool Note: The Auto and Em Heat system settings may not appear, depending on how your thermostat was installed. • Off: Heating and cooling systems are off. • Auto: Thermostat automatically selects heating or cooling depending on the indoor temperature.
Operating Manual Auto changeover (heat/cool) Fan Auto System Auto Press until screen displays “Auto” Note: The Auto system setting may not appear, depending on how your thermostat was installed. Auto Changeover is a feature used in climates where both air conditioning and heating are used on the same day. When the system is set to Auto, the thermostat automatically selects heating or cooling depending on the indoor temperature. Heat and cool settings must be at least 3 degrees apart.
FocusPRO TH5000 Series TM Built-in compressor protection Cool Setting Inside 75 Fan Auto Cool On 75 System Message flashes until safe restart time has elapsed. Cool This feature helps prevent damage to the compressor in your air conditioning or heat pump system. Damage can occur if the compressor is restarted too soon after shutdown. This feature forces the compressor to wait for a few minutes before restarting.
Operating Manual Battery replacement Press and pull to remove Replace Batttery Insert fresh alkaline batteries, then reinstall battery holder. TH5110D – AAA alkaline batteries. TH5220D – AA alkaline batteries. Batteries are optional (to provide backup power) if your thermostat was wired to run on AC power when installed. Install fresh batteries immediately when the REPLACE BATTERY warning begins flashing. The warning flashes about two months before the batteries are depleted.
FocusPRO TH5000 Series TM In case of difficulty If you have difficulty with your thermostat, please try the following suggestions. Most problems can be corrected quickly and easily. Display is blank Temperature settings do not change • • • • Check circuit breaker and reset if necessary. Make sure power switch at heating & cooling system is on. Make sure furnace door is closed securely.
Operating Manual In case of difficulty Heating or cooling system does not respond • Press SYSTEM button to set system to Heat. Make sure the temperature is set higher than the Inside temperature. • Press SYSTEM button to set system to Cool. Make sure the temperature is set lower than the Inside temperature. Check circuit breaker and reset if necessary. Make sure power switch at heating & cooling system is on. Make sure furnace door is closed securely. Wait 5 minutes for the system to respond.

Operating Manual 5-year limited warranty Honeywell warrants this product, excluding battery, to be free from defects in the workmanship or materials, under normal use and service, for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase by the consumer. If at any time during the warranty period the product is determined to be defective or malfunctions, Honeywell shall repair or replace it (at Honeywell’s option).

This warranty shall not apply if it is shown by Honeywell that the defect or malfunction was caused by damage which occurred while the product was in the possession of a consumer. En mode « Auto » (le mode usuel), la soufflante fonctionne seulement quand le système de chauffage ou de climatisation est en marche. À la position « On », la soufflante fonctionne sans interruption. À employer pour améliorer la circulation d’air ou pour une épuration d’air efficace.

La substitution automatique est une caractéristique utilisée dans les climats où la climatisation et le chauffage sont utilisés le même jour.
FocusPRO Série TH5000 MC Protection du compresseur intégrée Cool Setting Inside 75 Fan Auto Cool On 75 System Cool Le message clignote jusqu’à ce que vous puissiez redémarrer le système en toute sécurité. Cette fonction permet de prévenir les dommages au compresseur du système de climatisation ou de la thermopompe. Des dommages peuvent survenir si on redémarre le compresseur trop rapidement après une interruption. La fonction contraint le compresseur à attendre quelques minutes avant de redémarrer.
Manuel d’utilisation Remplacement des piles Saisir et tirer pour enlever le thermostat Replace Batttery Installez des piles alcalines neuves et réinstallez le porte-piles. TH5110D – piles alcalines AAA. TH5220D – piles alcalines AA. Les piles sont facultatives (pour fournir l’alimentation d’appoint) si votre thermostat est câblé à l’installation pour être alimenté du CA. Installer des piles neuves aussitôt que l’avertissement REPLACE BATTERY se met à clignoter.

La plupart des problèmes peuvent être réglés rapidement et facilement. L’écran est vide • • • • Vérifier le disjoncteur et réinitialiser si nécessaire. S’assurer que l’interrupteur d’alimentation du système de chauffage et de climatisation est en marche. S’assurer que la porte du système de chauffage est bien fermée.

S’assurer que la température réglée est supérieure à la température intérieure. • Appuyer sur la touche SYSTEM pour régler le système à Cool. S’assurer que la température réglée est inférieure à la température intérieure. Vérifier le disjoncteur et réinitialiser si nécessaire.
