âą Do not abuse the cord. Never carry the charger or base by the cord or yank to disconnect
from an outlet; instead grasp the charger and pull to disconnect. Keep cord away from
heated surfaces. Do not pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not close door on the
charger cord.
âą Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
âą This product includes rechargeable nickel cadmium batteries. Do not incinerate batteries or
expose to high temperatures, as they may explode.
âą Unplug the charger from the outlet before any routine cleaning or maintenance.
âą Do not put any object into openings.
âą Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may
reduce air flow.
âą Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
âą Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
âą Do not use without dirt cup in place.
âą Turn off all controls before unplugging.
âą Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
âą Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline or use in areas
where they may be present.
âą Leaks from battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. If the liquid, which is 20-35% solution of
potassium hydroxide, gets on the skin (1) wash quickly with soap and water or (2) neutralize with a
mild acid such as lemon juice or vinegar. If the liquid gets into the eyes, flush them immediately with
clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes. Seek medical attention.
âą Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to recharge.
âą To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not put the adapter and the appliance in water or
other liquid. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.

NOTICE:
This appliance contains a motor protective device that prevents high current flow to
the motor if an overload condition occurs. If the unit suddenly stops operating, turn
switch off and inspect the brushroll area for jams. Once the obstruction is cleared,
return unit to operating position and sweeper will be ready to use.

HOW TO OPERATE
CHARGING
1. Charge battery. For first use, charge for at least 24
hours. Power switch must be in the âOFFâ position
when charging. If charge indicator on charger lights up,
the battery is charging.
2. Remove obstruction from brushroll.

1. Attach handle grip to one of the upper handle tubes (A).
2. Then attach the other upper handle tube (A).
3. Next, attach upper handle assembly to lower handle tube (B).
4. Last, insert handle assembly into base.
Connect wall charger to the
outlet.
Plug charger into charging inlet located
on the base of the unit. The indicator light
will illuminate when cleaner is charging.
Unit will be charged in 16-24 hours. The
light will not change color or shut off
when the unit is fully charged.
NOTE: Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to recharge.
IMPORTANT:îMAKE SURE UNIT IS TURNED OFF BEFORE CHARGING OR UNIT
WILL NOT CHARGE.

Upon removal, cover the battery packs terminals with heavy duty adhesive tape. Do not attempt to destroy or
disassemble battery pack or remove any of its components. Nickel-cadmium batteries must be recycled or disposed
of properly. Also, never touch both terminals with metal objects and/or body parts as short circuit may result. Keep
away from children. Failure to comply with these warnings could result in fire and/or serious injury.

HOW TO EMPTY DIRT CUP
Empty contents into wast-
basket by pressing the
dirt cup door release but-
ton located near the top of
the dirt cup. The door will
swing open.
Press dirt cup door closed
until it is latched into place.
Return dirt cup to the base.
IMPORTANT: FOR BEST RESULTS, EMPTY AFTER EACH USE.
Grasp dirt cup handle and
pull up and out of base.
