SAFETY INFORMATION Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the product. 1. Always disconnect the power supply prior to servicing the fan, motor or junction box. 2. Installation work must be carried out by a qualified person(s) in accordance to all local and safety codes including the rules for fire-rated construction. 3.
PREPARATION Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and hardware contents. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product. Contact customer service for replacement parts.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS CAUTION: MAKE SURE POWER IS SWITCHED OFF AT SERVICE PANEL BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION. 1 INSTALLATION IN NEW CONSTRUCTION 1. Select the location for the fan in the ceiling. Position housing mounting tabs against joist so that bottom edge of housing is flush with ceiling board. Do not flush mount to joist. Mark the joist at the keyhole slot of both mounting tabs. 2. Put housing on the side and drive nails part way into joist at the top of keyhole marks.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 6 6. Check damper to see that it opens freely. Tape all connections to make them secure and air tight. CONNECT WIRING AND ATTACH GRILLE 7. Wire fan following diagram on page 5. Route electrical cable directly to unit. Cable should not touch sides or top of housing after installing. 7 CAUTION: If your electrical wires do not match the colors listed, you must determine what each house wire represents before connecting.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 9 INSTALLATION IN EXISTING CONSTRUCTION 9. Select the location for the fan in the ceiling. In attic, place mounting tabs against joist. Trace outline of housing on ceiling board. Remove housing and cut ceiling opening slightly larger than marked. Put housing in opening with bottom edge flush with ceiling board. 10. Connect circular duct to connector with duct tape (not included) or clamps (not included) and extend duct to outside. 10 Check damper to see that it opens freely.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE WARNING: Disconnect power supply before servicing. See SAFETY INFORMATION before proceeding. Routine maintenance should be done at least once a year. • Never use solvents, thinner or harsh chemicals for cleaning the fan. • Do not allow water to enter the motor. • Do not immerse metal parts in water.
LIMITED 5-YEAR WARRANTY If this product fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship at any time during the first FIVE years of ownership, the manufacturer will replace it free of charge, postage-paid at their option. This warranty does not cover products that have been abused, altered, damaged, misused, cut or worn. This warranty does not cover use in commercial applications. Trazar el contorno de la vivienda a bordo de techo. Retire el alojamiento y cortar la abertura del techo un poco más grande que la que señaló. Poner una vivienda en la apertura con ras del borde inferior con placa de techo 10.

ACCIÓN CORRECTIVA Asegúrese de que una puerta o ventana quede leve o completamente abierta para permitir el ingreso de flujo de aire. El ventilador no absorbe aire de la habitación porque no hay suficiente flujo de aire. Asegúrese de que la clasificación de m3/min del ventilador coincida con los requisitos del tamaño de su habitación.
