WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS
When used and maintained in normal Commercial use and in accordance with the Owner’s Guide your Hoover
®
Commercial charger and battery
are warranted against original defects in material and workmanship for 1 year limited warranty from date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”).
During the Warranty Period, Hoover
®
Commercial will provide labor and parts, at no cost to you, to correct any such defect in your CH27312
that was purchased in the United States, at a U.S. Military Exchange, or in Canada. Hoover
®
Commercial also reserves the right to provide
you with a replacement product(s) or refund, in Hoover Commercial’s discretion, in order to satisfy the terms of this warranty.
HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM
If the CH27312 are not as warranted, take or send the product to a Hoover

Commercial Authorized Warranty Service Dealer
along with proof of purchase or contact Hoover
®

WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
Certain parts for your Hoover
®
Commercial product require replacement in the ordinary course of use due to normal wear. These items include
belts, agitator roll sleeves, agitator bearings, brushes, bags, lters and bulbs. These parts are not covered by this Warranty. This Warranty also
does not cover: improper maintenance of the product, damage due to misuse, acts of God, nature, vandalism or other acts beyond the control of
Hoover
®
Commercial, owner’s acts or omissions, use outside the country in which the product was initially purchased, resale of the product by the
original owner, defects or damages caused by repair or alteration by anyone other than an Authorized Hoover
®
Commercial Warranty Service Dealer.

Commercial reserves the right to inspect any alleged defective product and make nal decisions on any warranty claim. This warranty does
not cover pick up, delivery, transportation or house calls. However, if you mail your product to a Hoover
®
Commercial Authorized Warranty Service
Dealer for warranty service, cost of shipping will be paid one way.
OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS
This warranty is not transferable and may not be assigned. This Warranty shall be governed and construed under the laws of the state of
North Carolina. The Warranty Period will not be extended by any replacement of batteries or parts or repair performed under this Warranty.
THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY AND REMEDY. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE DISCLAIMED. IN NO EVENT WILL HOOVER

COMMERCIAL BE
LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND OR NATURE TO OWNER OR ANY PARTY
CLAIMING THROUGH OWNER, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, TORT OR STRICT PRODUCTS LIABILITY OR ARISING FROM
ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER. Some states do not allow the exclusion of consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific rights; you may also have others that vary from state to state.

ANY SERVICING SHOULD BE DONE BY AN AUTHORIZED SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE. Call 1-888-768-2014 USA & Canada.
In the event that further assistance is required, visit an authorized service center. Costs of any transportation to and from any place of repair are to be paid by the owner.
Always identify your product by the model number and manufacturing code when requesting information or ordering replacement parts. (The model number and
manufacturing code
appears on the bottom of charger and bottom of battery.)
CHARGER TO WATER, MOISTURE, OR FLUIDS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CORROSIVE OR CONDUCTIVE FLUIDS,
OR ALLOW FLUIDS TO FLOW INSIDE THESE ITEMS. Corrosive or conductive uids, such as salt water, chlorine, certain
industrial chemicals, and bleach or bleach containing products, etc., can cause a short circuit in the battery pack. If your battery
pack is exposed to a corrosive or conductive uid, do not attempt to use or charge the battery pack and immediately perform
the following steps:
RISK OF FIRE, PROPERTY DAMAGE, AND INJURY. NEVER EXPOSE YOUR BATTERY PACK OR
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection and rubber gloves.
Place your exposed battery pack in a large bucket, such as a 5 gallon or similar bucket, and ll the bucket with regular tap
water. Do not place more than two packs in the bucket.
Locate the bucket outdoors in an area inaccessible to children and pets and away from all buildings, garages/sheds,
structures, vehicles, and combustible/ammable materials.
Leave the battery pack(s) in the bucket lled with tap water and call Customer Service at 1-888-768-2014 for additional
instructions on the proper disposal of the exposed battery pack(s).

Recharge only with the charger specied by the (Hoover part #CH07150, CH07250) manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of
battery pack may create a risk of re when used with another battery pack. Do not use chargers outdoors.
Use charger only with specically designated battery packs (Hoover part #CH27312). Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and re.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects,
that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Do not attempt to short circuit the battery or charger terminals.
Do not expose battery to crushing, incineration or similar actions. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact.
If contact accidentally occurs, ush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns. See battery disposal section for directions.
Do not attempt to disassemble battery. Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modied. Damaged or modied batteries may
exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in re, explosion or risk of injury.
Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to re or excessive temperature. Exposure to re or temperature above 265°F (130C) may cause explosion.
Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or appliance outside of the temperature range specied in the instructions.
Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specied range may damage the battery and increase the risk of re.
Do not modify or attempt to repair the charger or the battery pack except as indicated in the instructions for use and care.
This product is intended for Commercial use only.
Do not use charger with damaged cord or plug. If appliance or charger is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or
dropped into water, call 1-888-768-2014 prior to continuing use.
Do not pull or carry charger by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners.
Do not place product on cord. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not unplug charger by pulling on cord. To unplug charger, grasp the plug, not the cord.
Do not handle charger – including charger plug and charger terminals, or appliance – with wet hands.
This product includes rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Do not expose batteries to high temperatures, as they may catch re and/or explode.
Unplug the charger from the outlet before any routine cleaning or maintenance.
Keep charger away from areas where oil may be present.
CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF DAMAGE:
• Do not expose charger or batteries to freezing temperatures.
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, THE CHARGER HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (ONE
BLADE IS WIDER THAN THE OTHER). THIS PLUG WILL FIT IN A POLARIZED OUTLET ONLY ONE WAY. IF THE PLUG
DOES NOT FIT FULLY IN THE OUTLET, REVERSE THE PLUG. IF IT STILL DOES NOT FIT, CONTACT A QUALIFIED
ELECTRICIAN TO INSTALL THE PROPER OUTLET. DO NOT CHANGE THE PLUG IN ANY WAY.

manufacturer’s maximum temperature range (40°C/104°F), or incinerate. Replace battery with Hoover

only. Use of another battery may present a risk of fire or explosion. Dispose of used battery promptly. Keep away from children. Do not dispose of in fire.
Do not attempt to remove any component projecting from the battery terminals. Fire or injury may result. Prior to disposal, protect exposed terminals
with heavy insulating tape to prevent shorting.
BATTERY DISPOSAL
LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES: The battery must be collected, recycled or disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. The EPA certified RBRC
Battery Recycling Seal on the lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery indicated Techtronic Industries, a corporate affiliate of Hoover
®
Commercial, is voluntarily participating
in an industry program to collect and recycle these batteries at the end of their useful life, when taken out of service in the United States or Canada.
The RBRC program provides a convenient alternative to placing used Li-ion batteries into the trash or the municipal waste stream, which may be
illegal in your area. Please visit www.rbrc.org/call2recycle/ for information on Li-ion battery recycling and disposal bans/restrictions in your area.

Portez le matériel de protection individuelle approprié, dont des lunettes de protection et des gants en caoutchouc.
Placez le bloc-piles exposé dans un grand seau, comme un seau de 5gallons ou d’une capacité similaire, et remplissez-le d’eau du robinet. Évitez de placer plus de deux blocs dans le seau.
Placez le seau à l’extérieur dans un endroit hors de la portée des enfants et des animaux, loin des bâtiments, des garages, des remises, des structures,
des véhicules et des matériaux combustibles ou inammables.
Laissez le ou les blocs-piles dans le seau rempli d’eau du robinet et communiquez avec le service à la clientèle au 1888768-2014 pour obtenir des directives
supplémentaires sur l’élimination adéquate du ou des blocs-piles exposé(s).

Rechargez la pile uniquement avec le chargeur indiqué par ( Hoover, n°de pièce CH07150, CH07250 ) le fabricant. Le chargeur adéquat pour
un type de bloc-piles présente un risque d’incendie s’il est utilisé avec un bloc-piles différent. N’utilisez pas le chargeur à l’extérieur.
Utilisez le chargeur uniquement avec les blocs-piles spécialement désignés à cet effet (Hoover, n°de pièceCH27312). L’utilisation de tout autre
bloc-piles présente un risque de blessure et d’incendie.
Lorsque le bloc-piles n’est pas utilisé, gardez-le à l’écart d’autres objets métalliques qui peuvent établir une connexion entre les deux bornes comme des trombones,
des pièces de monnaie, des clés, des clous, des vis ou d’autres petits objets métalliques. Ne tentez pas de court-circuiter la pile ou les bornes du chargeur.
N'exposez pas la batterie à un écrasement, une incinération ou des actions similaires. Dans des conditions abusives, du liquide peut être éjecté de la batterie ;
évitez tout contact. En cas de contact accidentel, rincez à l'eau. Si le liquide entre en contact avec les yeux, demandez également une aide médicale. Le liquide
éjecté de la batterie peut provoquer une irritation ou des brûlures. Voir la section sur l'élimination des piles pour les instructions.
N'essayez pas de démonter la batterie. N'utilisez pas un bloc de piles ou un appareil qui est endommagé ou modié. Les batteries endommagées ou modiées
peuvent présenter un comportement imprévisible entraînant un incendie, une explosion ou un risque de blessure.
N'exposez pas un bloc de piles ou un appareil au feu ou à une température excessive. L'exposition au feu ou à une température supérieure à 130°C (265°F) peut
provoquer une explosion.
Suivez toutes les instructions de chargement et ne chargez pas le bloc de batteries ou l'appareil en dehors de la plage de température indiquée dans les instructions.
Une charge incorrecte ou à des températures en dehors de la plage spéciée peut endommager la batterie et augmenter le risque d'incendie.

Ne pas placer le produit sur le cordon. Ne pas faire passer l'appareil sur le cordon. Tenir le cordon à l'écart des surfaces chauffées.
Ne débranchez pas le chargeur en tirant sur le cordon. Pour débrancher le chargeur, saisissez la prise et non le cordon.
Ne manipulez pas le chargeur - y compris la prise et les bornes du chargeur, ou l'appareil - avec les mains mouillées.
Ce produit comprend des batteries rechargeables au lithium-ion. N'exposez pas les batteries à des températures élevées, car elles peuvent s'enammer et/ou exploser.
