4 English Chapter 1 Player inputs Before you set up your player, get familiar with the inputs on the player and the buttons on the remote control. Front: Welcome Congratulations on your purchase of the Passport Player. In just a few minutes you’ll be ready to select videos and watch them instantly on your TV.
5 6 Remote Control Video connection options To use your player, you need to connect it to your TV and a power source. The Passport Player’s video may be connected by one of three ways; composite video cable, S-video cable or HDMI cable. Inserting the batteries Connecting your player to your TV 1. Remove the battery cover by pulling up on the tab on the bottom of the backside of the remote. There are several ways to connect your player to your TV.
7 8 Audio connection options English ON The Passport Player’s audio may be connected by one of two ways; red and white audio cables or HDMI cable. For stereo sound (2-channels, left/right), use the red and white connectors on the composite cable. For surround sound (5.1 audio), use an HDMI cable. WAN S-Video CVBS L R HDMI POWER OFF Connecting your player to a power source Like most home entertainment products, your player requires electricity to run.
9 10 English Chapter 2 Accessing your player 1. After you plug your player into a power outlet, power it on using the power switch on the back of the player. 2. Turn on your TV, and if necessary, select the input on your TV that displays the player. When the player is properly connected, you see the Passport home screen.
11 12 English You can access the Virtual Active content or your personal movies that are stored on the USB drive through two separate menu options. Virtual Active Quick Start Additional instructions Accessing Virtual Active with quick start Passport screen saver 1. Select the Quick Start icon to start the first Virtual Active video immediately. The Passport Player will run a demo video preset in media folder when your Passport Player is paused for 10 minutes. 2.
13 14 English Chapter 3 Using Your New Destination with the Passport Media Player 1. Connect the Passport media player and turn it on according to the provided instructions. 2. Insert the USB flash drive into your Passport media player. 3. Select the new destination from the on-screen menu. 4. Follow the on-screen instructions to begin using your new destination during your workouts. NOTE: Note: If you insert 2 USB in the same time, Passport will only show videos from the one first inserted.
