GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS This product must be grounded. If a treadmill should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electrical current to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This product is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with local codes and ordinances.
ASSEMBLY WARNING There are several areas during the assembly process that special attention must be paid. It is very important to follow the assembly instructions correctly and to make sure all parts are firmly tightened. If the assembly instructions are not followed correctly, the treadmill could have parts that are not tightened and will seem loose and may cause irritating noises. To prevent damage to the treadmill, the assembly instructions must be reviewed and corrective actions should be taken.

It is recommended that you place a protective covering on your floor.

ASSEMBLY STEP 2 (continued) D Pull the CONSOLE CABLE out of the treadmill base frame using the LEAD WIRE. Attach CONSOLE CABLE to the CONSOLE CABLE in the bottom of the mast. The other end of the CONSOLE CABLE should be located at the top of the mast. Detach and discard LEAD WIRES. E Align the RIGHT CONSOLE MAST so that BOLT (A) sits in the NOTCHED HOLE in the bottom of the CONSOLE MAST.

TREADMILL OPERATION This section explains how to use your treadmill’s console and programming.

CONSOLE OPERATION Note: There is a thin protective sheet of clear plastic on the overlay of the console that should be removed before use. A) LCD DISPLAY WINDOW: time, distance, speed, calories, incline, and heart rate. B) PROGRAM KEYS: press to select workout. C) CUSTOM 1 & 2 KEYS: press to select custom 1 or custom 2 program. D) KEYS: Used to cycle through programs and Goal Center workout statistics. E) ENTER: used to confirm selection. F) VOLUME: used to adjust volume up or down.
DISPLAY WINDOWS • TIME: Shown as minutes : seconds. View the time remaining or the time elapsed in your workout. • DISTANCE: Shown as miles. Indicates distance traveled or distance remaining during your workout. • CALORIES: Total calories burned or calories remaining left to burn during your workout. • INCLINE: Shown as percent. Indicates the incline of your walking or running surface. • SPEED: Shown as MPH. Indicates how fast your walking or running surface is moving.
GETTING STARTED 1) Check to make sure no objects are placed on the belt that will hinder the movement of the treadmill. 2) Plug in the power cord and turn the treadmill ON. (The ON/OFF switch is next to the power cord.) 3) Stand on the side rails of the treadmill. 4) Attach the safety key clip to part of your clothing making sure that it is secure and will not become detached during operation. 5) Insert the safety key into the safety keyhole in the console. 6) Select USER 1, USER 2, or GUEST using ENTER.

FUNCIONAMIENTO DE LA CONSOLA Nota: Hay una lámina protectora delgada de plástico transparente en el revestimiento de la consola que debe quitarse antes de usarla. A) VENTANA DE INDICADORES DE LCD: tiempo, distancia, velocidad, calorías, inclinación y ritmo cardíaco. B) TECLAS DE PROGRAMA: oprima estas teclas para seleccionar su sesión de ejercicio.
VENTANAS DE INDICADORES EN PANTALLA • TIME (TIEMPO): Aparece en minutos: segundos. Indica el tiempo restante o el que ha pasado en su sesión de ejercicio. • HEART RATE (HR) (RITMO CARDÍACO, RC): Aparece como latidos/minuto (BPM, por sus siglas en inglés). Se utiliza para monitorear su ritmo cardíaco (se muestra cuando se sujetan ambas empuñaduras con sensor de pulso). • DISTANCE (DISTANCIA): Aparece en millas. Indica la distancia recorrida o la distancia por recorrer durante su sesión de ejercicio.
PARA EMPEZAR 1) Verifique que no haya ningún objeto ubicado en la banda que dificulte el movimiento de la caminadora. 2) Enchufe el cable de corriente y ENCIENDA la caminadora. (El interruptor de ENCENDIDO/APAGADO está al lado del cable de corriente). 3) Colóquese sobre los rieles laterales de la caminadora. 4) Sujete el broche de la llave de seguridad en alguna parte de su ropa y asegúrese de que quede bien sujeto y de que no se pueda soltar durante el funcionamiento de la caminadora.
