REINSTALL
TRANSFER BELT
The transfer belt is broken or
incorrectly installed.
Remove the transfer belt.
Inspect the transfer belt for
damaged areas and replace it if
necessary.
Check for broken connectors in
themiddlefrontdrawer.
Check for paper jammed inside
the connectors in the middle
front drawer.
Turn the white knobs on the
transfer belt until little windows
are visible. Tap the windows to
shake any toner loose. If the
toner does not shake loose,
reach under the window with a
Q-tip and remove the toner
from the window.
REMOVE PAPER JAM
Printer media has become jammed
somewhere in the paper path.
Ensure that all jammed paper
is removed from the paper
path. See “Paper jam locations”
on page 175.
