Using Blink Detection Mode -
The Blink Detection mode tracks faces and determines if the captured image contains
subjects with closed eyes. A menu selection will appear prompting save the image or not.
This mode saves time in managing photos to be stored or deleted from memory.
Select 1. from the Scene Mode submenu.

Press the shutter button half-way down to focus the subject. The frame turns green to 2.

Press the shutter button to capture the image. The image is automatically saved unless 3.
