Nweb Srl, an Italian direct marketing company, develops
internet services, business web sites, dynamic portals and
distributed intranet applications. Established in 2002 in
Milan, the organisation’s original client base of 100 has
increased steadily (they recently opened a subsidiary in
San Francisco, California) and currently comprises
about 4000 customers spread over 15 countries.
Approximately 2,800 multinationals, small companies
and individual practitioners employ MailUp, an email
marketing platform that generates 90 per cent of the
business’s revenue. Well known users include Coca-Cola,
Peugeot, Pirelli and Shell as well as BASF, eBay, Nissan and
Symantec. To support further business growth nationally
and internationally, MailUp (Nweb ownership) required
a new server platform within two data centres in
Cremona, Italy.
