Hard drive
NOTE: The hard drive spare part kit does not include the hard drive cable. The hard drive cable is available
using spare part number L52025-001

Before removing the hard drive, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 29).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 30).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 32).
Remove the hard drive:
1. Disconnect the hard drive cable from the ZIF connector on the system board (1).
2. Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 2.8 screws (2) that secure the hard drive and hard drive board to the
computer.
3. Remove the hard drive assembly from the computer (3).
