Before removing the ngerprint reader, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 29).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 30).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 32).
Remove the ngerprint reader:
1. Disconnect the cable from the ngerprint reader board (1).
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.8 screw (2) that secures the ngerprint reader bracket to the computer.
3. Remove the bracket from on top of the ngerprint reader (3).
4. Remove the ngerprint reader from the computer (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the ngerprint reader.
