Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 29).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 30), and then remove the following components:
a. Battery (see Battery on page 32)
b. USB board (see USB board on page 42)
c. Display assembly (see Display assembly on page 54)
Remove the power connector cable:
1. Disconnect the power connector cable from the system board (1).
2. Release the cable from the retention clips and routing channel built into the fan and speaker (2).
3. Remove the power connector cable from the computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the power connector cable.
