USB ports
Your computer might have one or more of the listed types of USB ports.

Component Description
USB port Connects a USB device, provides data transfer, and (for select
products) charges small devices when the computer is on or in
Sleep mode.
USB port with HP Sleep and Charge Connects a USB device, provides high-speed data transfer, and
charges small devices, even when the computer is o.
USB SuperSpeed port Connects a USB device, provides high-speed data transfer, and
(for select products) charges small devices when the computer
is on or in Sleep mode.

USB SuperSpeed Plus port Connects a USB device, provides high-speed data transfer, and
(for select products) charges small devices when the computer
is on or in Sleep mode.
USB Type-C port Connects a USB device, provides data transfer, and (for select
products) charges small devices when the computer is on or in

NOTE: Cables, adapters, or both (purchased separately) might
be required.
USB Type-C SuperSpeed port Connects a USB device, provides high-speed data transfer, and
(for select products) charges small devices when the computer
is on or in Sleep mode.
