5. Disconnect the power cable (1) and data cable (2) from the rear of the hard drive.
6. Press inward on the drive cage release latch (1), rotate the drive cage up (2), and then slide the tabs on
the side of the drive cage out of the chassis (3).
7. Remove the hard drive from the drive cage.
If you are removing a 3.5-inch hard drive, remove the four screws (1) that secure the drive to the
drive cage, and then slide the drive out of the cage (2).
