3. Lift the fan out of the chassis (3).
To install the fan, reverse the removal procedure.
Option board
To remove the option board, use these procedures.
Before removing the option board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 21).
2. Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 21).
3. Remove the fan (Fan on page 34).

1. Remove the two Phillips screws
(1) that secure the board to the system board.
