2. Lift to disengage the board from the system board connector, and then remove the USB board from the
computer (2).
To install the USB board, reverse the removal procedure.
Card reader
To remove the card reader, use these procedures.
Before removing the card reader, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 21).
2. Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 21).
3. Remove the front bezel (Front bezel on page 24).
4. Remove the drive cage (Drive cage on page 39).
Remove the card reader:
1. Disconnect the cable from the system board (1).
2. From the outside-front of the chassis, remove the Phillips screw that secures the card reader to the
computer (2).
