Before removing the hard drive, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 33).
2. Place the computer in Battery Safe mode (Battery Safe mode on page 33).
3. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 34).
4. Remove the battery (Battery on page 36).
Remove the hard drive:
1. Release the ZIF connector (1), and then disconnect the hard drive cable from the system board (2).
2. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (3) that secure the hard drive to the computer.
3. Lift the tab (4), and then use the tab to lift the hard drive from the bay (5).
