System board
NOTE: All system board spare part kits include replacement thermal material.
All system boards use the following part numbers:

Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 33).
2. Place the computer in Battery Safe mode (Battery Safe mode on page 33).
3. Remove the following components:
a. Bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 34).
b. Battery (Battery on page 36)
c. Battery connector board (Battery connector board on page 53)
When replacing the system board, be sure to remove the following components (as applicable) from the
defective system board and install on the replacement system board:
● Memory modules (Memory modules on page 37)
● WLAN/Bluetooth module (WLAN/Bluetooth combo card on page 39)
● M.2 solid-state drive (M.2 solid-state drive on page 43)
● Heat sink (Heat sink on page 48)
