What is the logic behind the HP ZBook Mobile Workstation industrial design for the HP ZBook 15u G4, HP ZBook 15 G3,
and HP ZBook 17 G3?
The HP Mobile Workstation team chose a Space Silver and Gravity Black color combination that represents power,
performance, and high-end aesthetics� These colors scored very well in human factors studies and in early customer
evaluations� This color combination will be unique to the HP ZBook family�
One example of HP ZBook uniqueness is the soft-touch paint border around the top cover of the unit� This soft-touch


Other innovations include a high quality aluminum insert on the center of the top cover with chemically etched patterns�
The keyboard deck has also been redesigned using anodized stamped aluminum for added durability� An HP Spill

experience� Finally, a diamond cut process has been applied around the keyboard deck providing an enhanced visual
appeal�
