Component Description
(1) WLAN antennas* Send and receive wireless signals to communicate with wireless local
area networks (WLANs).
(2) Internal microphones (2) Record sound.
(3) Webcam infrared (IR) lights (2) Improve the webcam picture quality in low-light conditions.
(4) Webcam and IR camera Records video and captures photographs. Some models allow you to
video conference and chat online using streaming video.
To use the webcam in Windows 10:
▲ Type camera in the taskbar search box, and then select
Camera.
To use the webcam in Windows 7:
▲ Select Start > All Programs > Music, Photos and Videos.
(5) Webcam light On: The webcam is in use.
*The antennas are not visible from the outside of the computer. For optimal transmission, keep the areas immediately around the
antennas free from obstructions.
