1 Getting started
This guide is for administrators of HP thin clients based on the HP ThinPro operating system and assumes
that you will log in to the system as an administrator when modifying system congurations or using
administrative tools as described in this guide.
NOTE: HP ThinPro has two possible OS congurations: ThinPro and Smart Zero. HP ThinPro-based thin
clients can be purchased with either OS conguration as the default, and you can switch between OS
congurations via Control Panel.
For more information about each OS conguration, see Choosing an OS conguration on page 2. For more
information about switching between OS congurations, see Customization Center on page 46.
