Step 2: Connecting to a computer
To connect a computer to the docking station:
1. Connect the USB Type-C Thunderbolt cable to the Thunderbolt port and power-in connector or USB
Type-C power connector and Thunderbolt port on your computer.
NOTE: Be sure that your computer is either on or o. HP does not recommend connecting to a
computer that is in Sleep or Hibernation.
