Status indicator
Description
Activity
This green status indicator is a “drive ready” indicator and
is on when the drive is idle.
Online
The green status i ndicator for this icon is controlled by the
disk driv
e. The status indicator will be off when:
• There is n
o controller on the bus.
• +5.1 VDC i
snotavailable.
• The driv
e is not properly installed in the enclosure.
Fault
The amber status indicator flashes in synchronization with
the other two status indicators in response to the EMU
locate c omma nd. Depending on the host controller, the
indicator for this icon can flashwhenthecontrollerdetects
an error condition.
Drive status displays
The two green and one a m ber LEDs are either on, off, or flashing. In some configurations, the host
contr
oller can control the status LEDs. The operational drive LED status displays are shown in Table 13.
