Replacing a
disk or drive blank
To replace a disk, comp lete the procedures outlined in Appendix D: Customer Replaceable Units.
The disk replacement kit contains detailed replacement instructions.
CAUTION:
Removing m
ore than one drive at a time can cause the enclosure to overheat. To prevent overheating and
ensure pro
per operation, install a drive of equal or greater capacity, or a drive blank, as soon as possible.
