Prompt corrective action should be taken to prevent system degradation.
Reporting Characteristics
■ An UNRECOVERABLE condition has precedence over a CRITICAL
condition.
■ A CRITICAL condition has precedence over NONCRITICAL and
INFORMATION conditions.
■ When a CRITICAL condition is the most severe active condition, the audible
alarm sounds three times per alarm cycle, as shown in Table 20 on page 96.
NONCRITICAL Condition
A NONCRITICAL condition is less severe than an UNRECOVERABLE
condition or a CRITICAL condition. This condition occurs when one or more
elements inside the enclosure have failed or are operating outside of their
specifications. The failure of these elements do not affect continued normal
operation of the enclosure. All devices in the enclosure continue to operate
according to their specifications. The ability of the devices to operate correctly
may be reduced should other errors occur.

condition.
■ When a NONCRITICAL condition is the most severe error active, the audible
alarm sounds two times per alarm cycle, as shown in Table 20 on page 96.
INFORMATION Condition
This condition indicates a condition exists that does not reduce the capability of an
element. However, the condition can become an error and require corrective
action. In effect, an INFORMATION condition provides an early warning, which
enables you to prepare to implement corrective action before an element fails.
Correction of the reported problem may be delayed.
