GUI Event Display
A problem that generates the Event display reduces the system capabilities. You
can use the information in this display to diagnose and correct problems.
Note: The major differences between the Event Display and the Termination Event
display are:
The Event display includes an EIP type field; it does not include a Code Flag field.
The Event display includes a Corrective Action Code (CAC) field.
The Termination Event display includes a Code Flag field; it does not include the EIP
Type field.
The Event display has the following format:
Date—The date the event occurred.
Time—The time the event occurred.
SWCID—Software Identification Code. A number in the range 1–256 that
identifies the internal firmware module affected.
Evt No—Event Number. A hexadecimal number in the range 0–FF that is the
software component identification number.
CAC—Corrective Action Code. A specific action to correct the problem.
EIP Type—Event Information Packet Type. A hexadecimal character that
defines the event information format.
Description—The problem that generated the event.
