8.1 BOOTP Client Configuration Command
8.1.1 display bootp client
Syntax
display bootp client [ interface interface-type interface-number ]

Parameter
interface interface-type interface-number: Specifies an interface by its type and
number.
Description
Use the display bootp client command to display information about the BOOTP client,
such as MAC address and IP address.
Example
# Display information about the BOOTP client.
[3Com] display bootp client interface ethernet0/0/0

Allocated IP: 169.254.0.2 255.255.0.0

Field Description
Interface ethernet0/0/0
Ethernet 0/0/0 interface is configured to
obtain IP address from a BOOTP server.
Allocated IP
IP address obtained from the BOOTP
server
Transaction ID XID field in the BOOTP packet
Mac Address MAC address of the BOOTP client
