3 Windows 10 Editions with Corporate-Ready
The Corporate-Ready option is available with most of the Windows 10 editions.
• Windows 10 Home
• Windows 10 Pro
• Windows 10 Pro for Workstations
• Windows 10 Pro for Education
NOTE: Not all products offer all OS editions.
Corporate-Ready is applied to the current version of the OS shipping from the factory. For example, if the
factory is shipping Windows 10 April 2018 Update (version 1803), then Corporate-Ready is applied to that
version of Windows 10. A customer cannot choose the version of Windows 10.
Typically, HP commercial products begin shipping the latest Windows 10 version three to four months after
Microsoft releases the new version. This allows HP time to test and qualify the new Windows 10 release as
well as factories time to prepare and deploy the new release.
4 Platforms offering Corporate-Ready
The Corporate-Ready option is available on most current generation HP commercial desktops, notebooks,
and mobile workstations. See 8 Appendix – Systems offering Corporate-Ready for supported platforms.
Corporate-Ready is not currently available on desktop workstations.
5 Windows Image Provisioning
Corporate customers frequently want a company-unique Windows image. The image would have a standard
Windows 10 client OS, but also have line of business applications, policies, and settings specific to the
customer. Companies can build their own image completely and use that to reimage end-user systems with
Traditional Windows Image Provisioning or one of the new Modern Provisioning techniques. The Corporate-
Ready offering from HP is a good option for the Traditional customer, but a great option for the Modern
provisioning customer.
