13.8 staple jams
Use the following procedure to clear jams in the stapler. When a jam occurs, the control panel displays an
animation that assists in clearing the jam.
1. Open the stapler door.
NOTE: Opening the stapler door disables the
stapler.
2. Remove the staple cartridge from the printer.
3. Lift up on the small lever at the back of the staple
cartridge. Remove the jammed staples.
