The VSS Writer is not
responding.
■ Run vssadmin list
writers
to verify that the
VSS writer is in a healthy
state.
5108 RME5108: ERROR: The VSS
Writer infrastructure is not
operating properly. Check
that the Event Service and
VSS have been started, and
check for errors associated
with those services in the
error log.
The VSS Writer is not
operating properly.
■ Check that the Event Service
and VSS have been started.
■ Run vssadmin list
writers
to verify that the
VSS writer is in a healthy
state and check the system
event log for errors
associated with those
services.
5111 RME5111: ERROR: The 3PAR
VSS Provider is not registered
on this computer.
A registered version of VSS
Provider was not detected.
■ Check that 3PAR VSS
Provider is properly installed
on the system.
■ Run vssadmin list
providers
to verify that
3PAR VSS provider is
properly registered.
■ If you cannot resolve the
problem, uninstall the 3PAR
VSS Provider package and
install it again.
