3.5 Editing the Registry
To edit registry data for Recovery Manager:
1 Click Start > Run, then enter regedit in the Run window and click OK.
2 Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > 3par > RM_Exchange from the left-side
of the registry window.
3 Double click the name TraceLevel from the right-side of the window.
Result: The Edit Value dialog box appears.
4 Modify the Value Data field and click OK to save the change.

Name Value
BackupTimeout The timeout value for the NetBackup initialization process
detection in minutes. This setting is optional if the default is
not appropriate.
GUILog Location of the GUI Log File (java errors only).
InstallPath Recovery Manager Installation path.
JarPath Path to the GUI jar file.
RCQueryTimer The monitoring interval for remote copy progress on the target
server in minutes. This setting is optional if the default is not
appropriate.
RepPath Root path to the Recovery Manager repository.
TraceHistory Number of Trace files to keep before deleting.
